Harold W. Parkhurst Jr. 93 of Newport News,VA died 9/8/2023. Born to Harold and Olive Perrin (Williams) Parkhurst in Hanover, NH 6/13/30 He grew up in Woodstock, VT and was a graduate of Woodstock High School class of 1950 and was the state of VT downhill ski champion in his freshman year.

He served in the US Navy and completed two tours in the Korean War and then he rode his Matchless Motorcycle across the US to finally meet his war time pen-pal sweetheart. He was in National Guard for many years. He was a machinist by trade but was a man of knowledge.
