Bullhead City, AZ - Lloyd D. Hill passed away with his family and friends by his side at home on July 30, 2021.
Lloyd was born on April 22, 1931, the son of Charles and Ruby Hartly Hill Knowlton in Presque Isle, Maine. His father Charles Hill passed away when Lloyd was 3 months old. His mother Ruby married Kenneth Knowlton a couple of years later. He graduated from Hermon High school in Hermon, Maine, in 1949. In 1953 he was serving in the 45th Inf Division Thunderbirds of the Oklahoma National Guard when their unit was activated for active duty to serve in Korea. Lloyd served in combat at Christmas Tree Hill while in Korea.
